Julian Dodd studied Documentary Photography at the University of South Wales, where he won Ffotogallery's Best Newcomer Award and was shortlisted for The Observer's prestigious Hodge Award.
He began his career assisting world-renowned photographers before striking out on his own as a freelance photographer, having his work published in major titles including The Economist, Time Out, Total Film, The Big Issue, The Times and The Independent.
Julian is well-versed in all types of photographic work, from portraits and advertising to landscape and event photography. He has shot a huge range of well-known faces from the worlds of business, music, film, TV and even royalty.
He regularly takes pictures for business magazine Management Today, and is currently one of their Editors-at-Large. He has recently taken portraits of Bernie Ecclestone, Michael Grade and Matthew Freud, amongst others.
Julian is based in London.
